Macallan College will assess the documents provided by students such as IELTS and TOEFL score to check the English proficiency of Students at the enrolment stage. Furthermore, where deemed necessary students will be required to complete an Oxford English placement test prior to enrolment, and a Language, Literacy and Numeracy Test must be completed by every student at the commencement of the course (during orientation). This will help to decide if any extra support or training is required such as an intervention strategy/material/resources to ensure smooth progression through the course. Macallan College ensures that the enrolment process and checklist are followed to ensure students meet any Macallan College and training package entry requirements.

After achieving CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, individuals could progress to higher education qualifications related to Early Childhood Education such as but not limited to Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
Different work environments may use different terms as job roles for their workers in the industry

Upon successful completion of all required coursework and a minimum of 280 hours of supervised work placement in a regulated early childhood education and care service, students will be awarded the CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
